E-Mail Notifications

Hello All,

I've got email notifications enabled for various content types on the site. Right now this is an opt-in system, meaning you need to choose to receive email notifications for content types (such as events, or forum topics), or for specific pieces of content (such as a specific event or forum topic).

To subscribe to a certain content type, select the appropriate link below the content you're viewing. For example, when viewing an event, you will see a notifications link at the bottom of the event. Clicking the link will expand the available options. One of those options will be "Posts of type Event", clicking the checkbox and then clicking "Update" will update your subscriptions to the Events. From that point on, any new event added will result in an email notification to you.

I am still working on having certain subscriptions becoming automatic when you register. I will let everyone know here or on the home page when that happens.
